Been up here before with @Snake Oil and @ViralEye but as they are currently being transformed in to part of a new cycle-route between Bolton & Bradley Fold (Eventually Bury), we went for a look to see what was occurring.
They have both been re-surfaced by BRB but in order for them to be open to the public they are being fitted out with a 'mesh cage' to stop the local yobbos throwing things/themselves off. Will be nice to see them open again.
Darcy Lever Viaduct
A new steel bridge is going to be put in to bridge over the road and join the two viaducts (just like there used to be!)
