Report - Decayed Salt Mine - Italy - February 2023

The mine was established in the 1950s. About a million tons of potassium salt were produced annually. Over 600 people worked in production. The mines were closed in the late 1980s due to depletion of deposits. Since then, the disused buildings have been degraded.
