One from a while back, that I haven't got around to posting until now.
The Defence Medical Equipment Depot (DMED for short) at Ludgershall in Wiltshire was part of the Defence Logistics Organisation, and it provided the armed forces with medical equipment and other supplies both on home soil and abroad. The site featured a huge warehouse type building along with some much older barracks type buildings of more 'normal' military construction and look. It closed in 2005 and was demolished in 2016.
This was one of those spur of the moment type explores I used to be able to do when I was at home bored, a lovely sunny day saw us arrive not really knowing whether it'd even still be there or not and thankfully it was! A nice relaxed wander was had in the late afternoon sun, before we buggered off home.
Thanks for looking
