So just back from a tour of Belgium, too hot for me but still managed to cope with the heat and hit some locations with @starlight as a tour guide and accomplice for a few days.
After making land at approximately 0130 local time our first stop after driving into Belgium was this place. Arriving at some stupid time in the morning with no sleep till... no im not going to break out into song contrary to belief
, we parked the trusty steed nearby and begun heading towards this place on foot.
A disused power station, powered by diesel and as far as I can tell, kept in limbo as a back up to supply power if and when needed during surges in consumption and times of need.
After ducking and diving, dodging PIR's and lazer beams, various security enforcing animals which turned out to be all a myth - no inbred sheep on this visit.. and using the space time continuum to gain entry, it was too dark to get any decent pictures without willy waving a lenser about. So we set up shop on the roof and waited for the sunrise.
Fast forward just over an hour and we had beautiful sunshine lighting the place up, so out come the cameras and off we went on a jolly around this place, i have got to say it was a pleasant stroll and nice chilled start to the weekends adventures...
Fuck it, its not a epic road trip without a gimp mask shot...
