Hello, I've seen some photos of this wonderful abandoned ww2 airfield but the poster doesn't want to give details about it. I'd love to have a mooch round but have no idea of it's whereabouts, just wondering if anyone might recognise it from the photos. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I can see the similarities in the buildings but the poster referred to it as RAF. Love the photos in the link you gave though :-)

Quite a few POW camps got built next to RAF bases, Long Marston being nearest to the top of the list here https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/list-of-pow-camps-in-britain.52906/.

Its certainly the remains of a Nissan Hut which was widely used in WW2
