The former DS Smith Warehouse was first constructed 1968 according to the brochure from Savills who are in charge with the letting on the premises.

Struggling to find any articles on it's closure. However, I know it closed only a few years back as I used to travel passed regularly when it was in business still. Once abandoned, the place deteriorated fast with it becoming a home from home for vandals and drug addicts, the latter confirmed from the endless supply of needles strewn around the place. Because of that, if you are going to go please be careful guys. Explored this one on my own.

Drive by this place fairly often. It went down hill so quickly, not surprised there's needles in there. Did you take a look at the swimming baths just down the road?

I did have a scan but I couldn't find a way in the day I went. It's a shame as I have gone passed when access was wide open several times but time constraints meant I never had the chance to go in.

Yeah it was such a shame it was so bare. Thought there might have been something more left behind. Although with the state inside I'm sure it wouldn't have lasted long before being trashed
