Potentially the last recorded explore at this location as it is now covered in motion sensing police CCTV.

Visit to the old conchy over a year ago now, won't show the entrance but it was hardly difficult getting in. Very cold day to explore but saw some lovely views from the top of the college.

Built in 1969 the site at 30 Constitution Road has lain vacant since 2003 following the departure of the college, with numerous previous planning applications passing undelivered amidst difficulty in getting the numbers to add up. This led to it being in limbo for a while, waiting to be sold and noone knowing what to do with it/not being able to afford it. Under the management of Scodd LTD there are plans of the college being refurbished and turned into student housing, however no actual building has occured yet, and the site still lies derelict and decrepit.

Currently, the outside of the building is in utter disrepair, with almost every window being smashed in, every room having some form of rot, litter or bird dirt thanks to the hundreds of pidgeons that have made it their home. The top floor of the larger of the two prominent buildings is almost entirely covered in the stuff, with the birds themselves hiding in the topmost rafters in dark rooms, leading to a nasty surprise the first time you walk up and spook them all. There were big red arrows painted on by previous explorers, however I did not get a photo of them sadly. We took nothing, broke nothing, however there was almost nothing to break or take even if we wanted to. The building had been such easy access and had sat uncared for for 2 decades, it had been gutted.

Back in its heyday, the college was quite beautiful, with some locals telling stories of how the steep hill it sat on would ice over in winter, causing cars to slide down in if their owners were unprepared for the slippery texture. The college was one of many campuses, and was well known in the local area.

During our visit we found a starkly different building to the one we had heard about. The smell of mold was mostly lost thanks to the cold air instead, with the waft of bird dirt cutting through in some areas. We were glad to have brought our boots as other shoes may not have been enough to protect us from the layers of it that covered the floor in some places. One stairwell in the smaller building led nowhere except to a corridor full of shut doors and fluttering noises, which soon became a few panicked pidgeons flapping around us to try and get out. The smaller building on the west side of the college was difficult to access, so the majority of these photos are from the larger on the eastern side.

We could access one or two things in the smaller building though, most notably the multi purpose sports hall, a vast empty space compared to the boxy classrooms we had seen prior. Fewer birds occupied this room but they still flapped nervously on our entrance. Connected to this were the changing rooms. The ceiling had collapsed in some places here and the light could come in along with some air. We started seeing a lot more litter in this area.

In another hall near this one we found a stockpile of trash that was kept under the stairs in a cupboard. Quite a few of the brands we know from today and a few we didnt recognise. Was fascinating to see. Some of the tins still had liquid in them but we didnt dare open them or take anything.

The roof had some amazing views of the city, however we didn't stay up there too long for safetys sake. Plus the cold wasn't the most fun up there either. The drains had long been clogged or stopped working so the roof was covered in a small lake. Managed to get around by tiptoeing on the small lip on the perimiter that was holding all of the water in and then went back down not too long after.

Few tidbits left over; old science labs (?) with the windows completely removed that have become a small marsh, a lift shaft with doors missing on several floors, a boiler room with 2 huge tanks that I cannot show video of I'm afriad, a main cafeteria that was now open air and a meat freezer in the cellar that still had a lockable door from the outside with no reception inside. Decided not to tempt fate there.

Jealous that you got in before the security was Area 51 level. I am in Dundee loads and didn't know this existed!
