Hey everyone,
Im 27, in East London. I’ve been fascinated by abandoned places for as long as I can remember—long before I even knew “urban exploring” was a thing. So far, I’ve only checked out small sites that I’ve stumbled across, usually with my brother, but I always make a point to investigate a pillbox whenever I see one.
I first learned about ROC posts from this forum, and after reading up on them, I decided to check out the Chigwell ROC Post. I wasn’t expecting to get in since the reports I saw said it was sealed, but I got lucky. The inside was in very poor condition (apparently petrol-bombed years ago), but even in that state, it was one of the most interesting places I’ve explored. (I’ll write a report soon)
Lately, I’ve been reading reports on London’s deep shelters, and they look incredible. I’d love to connect with people in London to explore one of those or anything else worth seeing. If anyone’s up for it, let me know!
Looking forward to being part of the community.
