Hi
I thought for my first post I'd go for a straight forward explore, my local ROC post.
Edenbridge post is all of 5 minutes walk across the fields from my house. It's a 68 closure and has obviously been burnt out in the past.
The hatch has been seperated from the concrete so is just laying on top of the shaft.
The inside doesn't look much different from the last report, although an electric lantern has appeared in there along with a collection of beer cans.
I can think of better places to go for a drink..........:crazy
The compound is a little overgrown.....
Amongst the brambles, trees and snow....
The louves are missing from the vent. There is one smashed up set down in the post.
The toilet survives!
The monitoring room is a little the worse for wear....
The obligatory up shaft shot.
Whats left of the orlit post still stands in the corner of the compound.
They did have a lovely view across the valley though!
Shame it's been trashed, I'm surprised that the local kids managed to find it.
Thanks for looking
