HISTORY- the mill which served the local community from 1801 till its demise in 2001 was also referred to as "rosebank mill" . in its time the mill was used for weaving , bleaching , printing , storage and late in its life as a garage facility . it now sits forgotten in a green woody valley .
THE VISIT- my derping sidekick @Cazel#HT spotted this place while hanging her neck out of the car window while we was travelling to jag mansion (well done kid )
i have passed this place a hundred times and never bloody noticed it !!!! , we had to watch ourselves on the rotten and fire damaged wooden floors , the place has suffered severely from neglect in the 14 years it has laid empty , graffiti is everywhere ! and also shows signs of rough sleepers using the premises in the past !
the place is quite photogenic and a good little explore , glad we did it really !
PICS- i took the pics with a 10 -18mm wide angle canon lens , just wondering what they look like after shrinking them for the new photoimage forum ....enjoy the pics
