Eggborough power station is a large decommissioned coal-fired power station in North Yorkshire, England, which was capable of co-firingbiomass. It is situated on the River Aire, between the towns of Knottingley and Snaith, deriving its name from the nearby village of Eggborough. The station had a generating capacity of 1,960 megawatts, enough electricity to power 2 million homes, equivalent to the area of Leeds and Sheffield. The station closed in September 2018, but there are plans to replace it with a 2,500 megawatt gas power plant
Scenes of the film Fast amd Furious Hobbs & Shaw was filmed at this location,
the actual explore was very strange, after walking the perimeter for 25 mins, we then found a way in.
if anyone else is wanting to go there then be wary and there is a lot of machines and oxy-acetylene
So anyone in the grounds could be seen to be trying to steal,
never the less it was a brilliant explore
