It's a real shame we didn't get in this years ago because it's absolutely stripped now, not exactly back to the concrete but there was none of the usual paraphernalia.
"The Eldridge Pope brewery was established on the Weymouth Avenue site in 1879 and stopped brewing in 2003". Work has started on converting the old brewery and maltings to a multi-use development 'Brewery Square'. I have read that this has sold old completely just based on the paper plans. All other buildings have been demolished and the site cleared.
