History:
After WW2 all of Hollands infrastructure and industrial was in ruins, which meant a massive reconstruction had to occur. With the Marshall plan a electronics manufacturer in the south of Holland made the decision to expand out of the original city into the other cities around the countries. The one we are exploring in this post is the first one which was constructed after the age of expansion around Holland. In the begin of the 50s this plant was finished and put into operation, their first product was the building of television housings. The current employees of this factory was in the 1000s by the way, which meant that pretty much the whole region was living off this certain factory. At the end of the 70s, the manufacturing in Holland seemed to be less profitable which meant that the company was suffering. For the survival of the company they had to move all of the manufacturing to other countries with lower wages. Which meant that this site had too close. Now after almost two decades of constant weather from the outside this place has decayed heavily., even though there was still quite a lot left behind.
