Struggling to find when it was originally built but I would imagine 1920/30’s from its appearance and it was controversially closed in 2013 with the loss of 14 beds and a minor injuries unit. The local community fought quite hard for the hospital to stay open throughout 2012 – 2013 but their efforts were fruitless. It was eventually replaced by the opening of the ‘Flint Health & Wellbeing Centre’ in 2018. The former hospital site has sat vacant for 7 years and currently there are no plans for the site.
A brief stop-off during a day out in North Wales. This hospital is only small with 2 or 3 wards and a minor injuries unit - there was also a chapel onsite but it was totally stripped so no photos of that. Strange it’s been empty for 7 years and never been on here before? Probably would’ve been nice before the local kids destroyed it!

That's it, thanks for looking
