A former German lunatic asylum in konisberg built in 19th century.
When it became Kaliningrad part of the Soviet Union it became a soviet military hospital built to support naval and ground to air missive defence battalions, based in the region; operational until the 1990’s. Not fully decommissioned until 2013
It comprised general troop dormitories,hospital, recreational facilities as well as offices stores and rehabilitation areas.
