If I was to write a list of things that I wish I could do before I die , standing on the top of the 4th bridge would be in the top 3.
Ever since I first clapped eyes on it about 20 years ago , I knew that one day I would stand there being swayed by the biting Scottish air..
Do I try to write about the history of how such a mind-blowing structure came to be sat in such a hostile place and how men gave their lives just to be part of what has to be the most incredible feet of engineering (still)..
No I think I will keep it simple..
I would love to have seen the faces of the people they were trying to convince "WTF has that got to do with bridge buil MMMmmmmm"....
Having said all that how would you like to look at some shit pictures of it , I am sorry I was having far too much fun climbing about on it
Nearing the work men..
Inside this chrysalis workers were reborning the bridge...
Heavy & light..
Walking off I looked back...
6 hours of full on bliss
