I didn't find anything substantial, only that it appears to have been closed in 2016 and that they opened up another school at a different location that the students moved to. there were plans to re-develop the area in to holiday homes or luxury flats but I'm not sure what stage it's at.
The Explore
We decided to check this out when we were looking at some other Kent bits, it was the first on our list and seemed quite surreal being in a location that was so close to the sea-side, it was very straight forward access but as others have mentioned, quite slippery underfoot, everything was overgrown and we were following a path which suddenly opens up to the house, it's quite impressive and for us ticked all the boxes of a perfect location, nice and secluded and lots to uncover.
We initially entered the house from a difficult route until realising it was wide open! There are lots of rooms with nice décor and lots of nature trying to get in, our favourite was the library, we probably spent a good couple of hours here feeling pleased that the first explore was a great one.
