Plans get the go ahead for the regeneration of the derelict buildings in Lime Street including the Futurist Cinema.

Also note the linked story on that page - a hotel scheme's been approved for the Royal Insurance building. Hopefully this time it actually happens ; the RI's had several such schemes approved but no actual on site action so far.
