Visited with Urban Junky and Jake after the browns sleepover.
We took a the 270 mile journey up to the little village of Clapham in the North Yorkshire Moors to drop into Gaping Ghyll, the largest natural underground chamber and the tallest unbroken waterfall in England. It is 105 metres from top to bottom, about 350ft.
First is the Hour and a half walk to Gill through the Ingleborough nature trail, past Ingleborough Cave and up on to the moors, very enjoyable indeed with some fantastic views!

The winch meet was organised by Craven pothole club, so big thanks to them for making it possible. We also were able to have a wander past the main chamber through some of the passages, thanks to cpcnick, good to meet you mate
I think the next meet is in march, if you haven't been already you are missing out!
