HEY THERE
So i've been away to Dorset for a few days for my birthday and thought while i was there i'd have a little look on maps to see what i could find, aswell as actually staying in a place next an abandoned building which i shall also post soon! Straight away i found a site that was pretty big and clearly abandoned. Took a 3 minute trip down the road and realised it was an old military building under "Gate No.3". The fences were triple the size of me so the only way to get in was to go under. The place was trashed so we knew there would be a way in somehow! Alot of the old access points were blocked off, but fortunately we found a hole underneath.
(History found from someone elses report) Holton Heath laboratories was ued in the process of making cordite for shells during World War 1 & 2. Opened in 1916 and laid derelict since the late 1990’s.
The place is completely trashed but we made the most of it! Not a lot to see but made a good little explore while we were there and with some other reports ive seen on here, it was worth a quick post as an update if people have been there before.
Enjoy some photos...
