December 2015
The Globe Inn is a pub located in the small village of Scholars Green in Cheshire, the pub was originally a row of terraced houses and has been converted to a pub with a public area consisting of 3 small rooms and a tiny bar. The pub was closed around December in 2006 with several newspapers scattered around the building and the christmas lights still up outside. I struggled to get good shots of the room due to them being so small, and upstairs was still sealed so only the ground floor and cellar to go at.
I managed to find a small amount of information on the CAMRA website, apparently the pub was scheduled to reopen in 2010 following a refurbishment, but the current owners 'Allocates Brewery' from Wigan pulled the funding at the last minute.
