Report - Glossop Marketplace Culvert - July 2022

Happened to be in Glossop this morning and saw that the Glossop Brook was culverted under the market place. Had ten minutes to spare so had a wade and found it to be a short but quite impressive brick edifice with some decent views and a lot of pigeons!

There's an interesting side passage that I didn't have time to investigate but it looks like it has potential...

Thanks! Makes sense that it goes to the mills. I need to get up to the north more, looks great fun.
