Report - Goathland ROC Post - Yorkshire - 30.09.08

Solo visit.

Post is located in its own small compound and is locked on the t-bar, and now the battleships. I have kept the name anonymous as I don't want to be responsible for the teletalk being pilfered and such a good post being wrecked.

Underground the post is in tip-top condition with the sump dusty dry, and lots of kit still in-situ.

I went a few months back the TT was still in there then.

1991 Closure

Just of the road up a slight rise.

Nice clean post though and much to see. Locked on the tbar and guarded by very friendly sheep.
