Grange, its a funny old place, with a population of only 4000 people, around 90% of whom have retired and come here to live out their days..
This means vandalism is virtually non-existent, which would explain why a building that has been closed since 1993 is in such good condition.
There are plans afoot to redevelop it into a working Lido, however the local council wants to fill it in and build another leisure complex there also... :crazy
Time will tell which way it goes, but for now its a nice spot to visit!
Built on the promenade in 1932, it was open until 1993 and is Grade II listed.
On with the pics-

This is built onto the back of the Diving board structure, it looks like a loudspeaker and was possibly a tide siren which would sound to give people a warning to clear the sands before the tide came in-
Thanks for looking
