Report - Gravesend Maternity Hospital, Gravesend - Jan 2019

This is my first report ... We packed our bags and left with high hopes of getting in.. We arrived at the Hospital that stands in a busy town. Looking from road there didn't seem to be access as the doors were sealed with metal..

Going over the wall to get closer... bingo.. we're in!

Stepping in to the basement it opens in to corridors upon corridors, rooms off rooms and lots of debris on the floor, oh and the graffiti omg!

Basement level was dark and creepy with big pipes and boilers.

We headed to the stairs and made our way up the stairs, oooo lifts,

stairs back to the stairs... look up omg the stairs go on, and on, and on. What a great view at the bottom you can see strait to the top.

Anyway back on track, we walked up to top floor and went through the top wards.. filled with graffiti and rooms off rooms, toilets, bathrooms, and showers.

We found more stairs that lead up on yo the roof! Wow amazing view.

Floor by floor, room by room, we made our way through the hospital down to next level room by room, next level and so on.

We spent a good few hours walking through the hospital finding internal mail envelopes with some from Stone House Hospital.

Found some swabs, iv bags, and other medical equipment. Level 3 had an eerie feel to it and a few of us swear we heard moaning and whispering..

No disturbances from security, public or other explorers. All in all a great explore. Hope you enjoy...

Thank you, I've been meaning to go for ages but kept being put off by people saying its sealed.. was a really good explore took so many photos didn't know what ones to post lol..

As you have found, often it's best to ignore what you hear and just go look yourself

Nicely done. I never bothered with this one because I thought it was a bit too much of a mess to justify the journey, still some decent shots in there and doesn’t look like it’s any worse that it was years ago.
