Report - Green Lodge Naturopathic Centre, Halstead - August 2020

I had seen many reports of this place online from over the years and even though i knew it would probably be empty and trashed I wanted to go anyway.

firstly some of the history I can see online says the place began its business in 1988 as a wellness centre, it supposedly boasted 2000 clients/patients. It’s still situated on a live site and shares its space with an active elderly care home so access needs to be quiet.
It’s pretty destroyed, Windows broken and graffiti all Over the place but every now and then there are small glimpses of what once was like the decorative curtains in the big room and the carved stair case. I had a fun time there having a sneaky little explore but there is not much left and I can imagine it won’t be there for many more years. I am only sorry I never got to see it before it had been pillaged and destroyed.

It looks so much nicer now it's been emptied of all the rubbish and broken furniture that was in there up until recently, so much so I might have to go back and actually get my camera out in there.

Few little details there, nice report, could always do with some history or past historical shots

yeah some nice details, the room with the green ceiling is interesting, almost like a small church but the fireplace and the windows don't make sense in a church.

Still a decent mooch, I like the mural and glimpses of what it was. Nice high windows, brass fittings and tiled floor. That hall is quite special, the arched roof is quite nice. I can imagine several people on floor mats doing meditation there lol
