This is an interesting explore as it has become abandoned in two parts. The top floor shut around 2002 and the bottom floor shut in 2015. Please keep this one on the hush for now as I am the first to go in since the whole place closed, so no other reports of the bottom half will be around.
Anyway, the top part of the building functioned as a ballroom and function room, the middle floor was a cocktail bar and the ground floor was a very small casino. Had a good wander around here, halted short when for some reason opening a keypad on a wall set alarms off. The place seems to be partially alarmed but it is hard to know what is what due to the two different states of decay in there.
On with the show
This is the rather impressive ballroom
Monogrammed carpet, name of the owner Jimmy... someone... I'll add that back in when I find the page that mentioned it
The old kitchen... not too bad considering the 14 years at least of decay
Ornate plasterwork and lighting
Cocktail bar
No real reason for a bog photo. Just nice orange lighting
Air con has been installed through the top floors in order to service the lower floors
A recurring theme throughout
Casino area
Not a single chip in sight
Love this old tank
Pretty stripped out which is disappointing. But fun to go around if you can avoid the alarms. I lost the history on it so I'm going to find it again and add it in this evening Thanks for looking!
