My first explore of the year, and probably the most substantial explore I've done for a little while.
History
Formally known as Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court or DMRC Headley Court. The site began in 1899 and was in use by the military between 1946 to 2018.
It became a a rehabillitation centre injured members of the british armed forces in 1985 until in 2018 where it closed and the DMRC services were moved up to Stanford Hall near Loughborough.
The site is split up into a site containing the main manor house and a seperate site across the road. The Manor being the main part of the site is well looked after by it's new owners Angle Property.
However the site(s) across the road appear to have been ignored and not cared for.
The Explore
This was the first explore I've done for a while, and I've missed it. The manor house is well looked after with live in security, however the other site is unloved and been left as a bit of a free-for-all. The hospital was actually a fair bit bigger than I'd anticipated, consisting of a few seperate buildings.
Some parts were in a really good condition, whereas others were rotten, mouldy and damp ridden.
Overall a decent and chilled explore. We narrowly avoided the incoming torrent of rain that started pretty much the moment we drove away.

Wish all bars were this cheap!
