Another one I've got no real memory of how ended up here. Visited with @ImmortalOwl on a lovely summers evening 10 years or so ago. Back then the place was completley untrashed, although closed for 4 years there was only evidence of minor damage inside. The power was still mostly on too. We didn't venture into the building on the right (the main silos?) as we opened up a door and heard a wail of many rats screaming back at us. Fuck. That. I'm not sure why I have so little photos here again, possibly we got spooked when inside or that it was just getting dark and the light was crap.
The flour mill in Tewkesbury dates back to 1865 and produced flour for over 150 years. Grain was shipped up the river from Avonmouth. It was closed in November 2006. It's got severe structural problems as you can see with the bracing on the front. Although listed these issues make redevlopment extremely costly and not financially viable at this time. Thus although very much more trashed the bulidings still remain derelict and forlorn.
