There is an old sewage pumping station in Doncaster, not far from the College. I don't know anything about the history of the place as I couldn't find anything about it. It is accessible by the college fence. You can see the college in the background of some of my shots.

Yeah, I suppose they could make some use out of it. Shame it's just been left there, forgotten. And the building must have once been nice.

Thanks man, yeah, it was my first time in there, so I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd recommend going there to see what it's like for yourself again, especially during daytime.

Wow, well done. I've looked at this for years, always wanted a look inside. But it's been well sealed before and alas i'm too old now. Wonder who owns it? I'd have thought it would have been converted into a dwelling by now, or developed on. Also, try the old railway bridge over the river that is close by. Used to climb over it when I was a kid. Although it was well rotten then so god knows what its like now. Used to carry the branchline that went through the gasworks and ici and run parallel with the road up wheatley hall road where all the car dealerships are now.

Thank you for the great response. I'm glad you liked it. The only way of getting in that I found was through the windows pictured in the 4th to bottom picture, and it was quite a tight squeeze. But the place is still easily accessible as all you need to do is go to the college car park and then through some gaps made by others in the fences and you're in. I'm not sure who owns it really as it seemed to be quite disused. It's hard to find any information about the place. I think it would be good if they developed it into some housing as it definitely has the potential. How could I access this railway bridge? And do you know any other places worth seeing in Doncaster? Thanks

I believe access to the bridge is very close to the building. As we used to go over the bridge from Bentley to get to the, building. If you go onto the bridge over the river near to the college and look north east up the river you will see the bridge. From the bentley side its accessed from the railway 'Doncaster Avoiding Line' but I'll bet its overgrown on that side now.
