So today I started my journey at the off tour gate I visited previously. Then we climbed up to a higher bank that the moat was on the other side of. We looked over the edge and knew we’d found the bastion. But was it accessible? Only one way to find out as there was no rope going into the moat: climbing down. So we then entered a moat that was only half as deep as the others so it wasn’t to bad to get to. But then we found an apex which we climbed across on the other side of. I actually have a theory that there’s something underneath connecting it to the lower floors of the tower William Twiss filled. On the other side, we reached an edgy but short slope going down into the moat. But even then there was a problem; overgrowth.
So after pushing through bushing and even awakening a spider’s nest against the wall we found the entrances. Windows and doors and what looked like three levels of firing slits! And they were all sealed(except for that of a few firing slits but most of them were sealed anyway. So unfortunately. All of that, everything, had been a waste. Until next time.
