Visited with Minty447, Horton is pretty much a modern housing estate now, but once upon a time it was a huge complex, little survives except the chapel (inaccessable), the water tower (death by pigeon!), the Research Dept & the sex offenders rehap building.

My first asylum!! or part of. Some more pics. Couldn't get in the taller building (the sex offenders one), whats the two to the north of the research dept?? Anyway, couldnt do the entire research building as about half way round there was an almighty bang and I could hear footsteps. In short, it took me a couple of minutes to squeeze in, but about 10 seconds to get out!!! Turns out the noise was a patient at the still operational part kicking a ball around against the other end of the building.
