Built in 1894 and abandoned in 2012, it appears to have been last occupied by Ibatex/ Charles/ WM Sowry. West Yorkshire is well known as a manufacturing area of some of finest cloth in the world and there were plenty of labels leftover here for high end fashion houses and technical fabrics.
This is best type of derp if you ask me (nobody did), where you can find lots of hidden detail and spend hours rooting through old tat. It also turned out to be the latest installment of Hidden Hattersleys when I checked the basement last and there was a set of 4 rusting in the semi-darkness.
The building isn't listed and plans were lodged in 2016, lapsed, and again in 2019 to turn it in to flats. Several other mills in the street have undergone gentrification and the printers across the road looks like it could also be of interest before they get to that.
