Question - Info required- Springfield

Hi

am trying to find out when the derelict wards (geriatric care) closed at Springfield hospital. Does anyone know? All I find on google is “during the 90s”. Would be great for mo in-depth info and what the wards were used for. I remember visiting my nan in there after she had 3 strokes.

I vaguely remember finding some documentation in there from about 1992 but no idea if that's relevant at all.
