J & J Tod Ltd - Plant nursery
History:
To be honest I don't know a great deal about this place and I can't find anything about it online other than it potentially dating back to the 1940's and going out of business around 2010.

This place is only down the road from my place of work so I thought I'd have a walk down to it on my break as I've been walking past it for years and have always been intrigued. Gaining entry was straight forward and just involved negotiating some barb wire which was wrapped over the top of a normal sized gate. This brought me onto site at the opposite side of the main buildings, to the edge of the greenhouses. Nature has definitely taken over here and getting through the shrubbery was tricky at points and picking the correct route in between the greenhouses wasn't easy.
After making my way through to the other side of the site I found the old Adelphi potting machine and then the old bungalow and caravan which I never even knew was there as it isn't visible from the road. I couldn't see any signs of a way into the bungalow however I didn't go round the entire building as it's pretty overgrown in places.
The main greenhouse which housed the office and till area is easily entered through a missing window pain in the bottom of the door and I was quite surprised to find an old VW Scirocco in there as well as a few other interesting artifacts like an old, handmade kids go cart.
I didn't gain entry to any of the other warehouses (behind the trucks in one of my photos). All main doors were locked and had been secured with screws through the frame/door. Definitely a place I'd like to revisit at some point, perhaps when I've got a little time to actually explore.
This is my first report so I hope it's OK...... I'm interested in any feedback, constructive or otherwise :
