After myself and @KM_Punk had visited and ticked off Trinity North and visited the obligatory golden arches which also seems to have been converted into a fast food equivalent of Argos. We still had a couple of hours to kill, I mentioned to Punk that I knew something, rather stoopy that myself and Nightvision had popped down to look at a few years back but failed to photograph. I gave a stark warning... its very stoopy and it goes on, and on, and on...
Named Kadunk Kadunk because that is all you can hear down there due to the heavy traffic on one of Leicesters main roads hitting a manhole. And this report starts underneath that crossroads.
Constructed of Box Section, RCP, RBP and RPP all no bigger in diameter than 5ft some times shifting to 4.5ft due to sediment, its purpose is to take storm flow from the older parts of Beaumont Leys and a small brook out to the river soar. The pipe changes its style constantly after many series of improvements.
