Built in the 1930s it was the Wehrmacht's cavalry school, after the fall of Berlin in 1945 the occupying Russian forces used the site as an army barracks until they pulled out in the nineties after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Today it lies abandoned and is used by the German police for dog training (or so i've been told). The place has been used by a few films such as "Resident Evil, Enemy At The Gates and Inglourious Basterds to name a few.
