After attempting West Park yesterday, but failing miserably thanks to M.C.Hammer who was still boarding up as we were walking around, some friends and I decided to head to La Porte after seeing a few reports on here.
The site is much bigger than I expected, didn't really get to cover as much as we wanted because after only about 20 minutes inside, we bumped into the police who had been called in by some of the neighbouring residents So we had to cut the trip short unfortunately, but they were cool about it, giving us time to pack up and head out with no pressure.
Did manage a handful of pics in the time though.
The bottom of one the silo's/towers as you enter.
There's some seriously heavy machinery that goes by the site now and then, i think it's because the quarry is now some kind of landfil. We were all hiding in here as one went past.
Half the site is just all decaying and industrial like the following units, didn't venture up any stairs though, they seemed to have been cut-off from the floor to about 5ft'.
Then you have a huge empty warehouse (apart loads of empty cat litter boxes )
