This post is now privately owned and the post is locked with battleship padlocks and surrounded by a chain link fence with locked gate.
Permission and access from the owner were given for this visit.
1991 closure, and according to the owner, the previous owner appears to have stripped almost everything of any value that was left, but the current owner is considering a restoration to form part of the neighbouring Boxted Airfield Museum, however insurance for the public to access it is creating an issue for him
Nothing seems to have changed since the last reported visits in 2007.
