First post and first venture out with a new camera so please be kind (I've not really got the hang of low-light photos yet).
I've been planning some expeditions in the centre of London for a while but not realised any of them. Tonight though, drunken good fortune lead me up into the heights of the City of London that few people get to see. Hats off to Bryce who spotted that the window of a restaurant Gents leads straight out onto the fire escape routes that skirt the roofs of many a city building. Turns out that these all link together providing a pretty little network of adventure.
There was some lovely views of the masonry:
And some good roof structure:
But the best was the views of the wonderfully-lit Lloyd's building:
This was on the tube on the way home.

I'll endeavour to return when sober and explore more and take better some better pics in the near future.
