Ledston Luck Colliery between Castleford and Micklefield. Was sunk in 1870 as part of the super pit in the Selby Area. All that remains are The Winding Houses built in 1911 and another building that contained the canteen, now a sandwich shop.
The pit linked with the nearby Peckfield Colliery via rail allowing the coal to be transferred to the main line for distribution.
I only managed to get into one building but I am going to go back as it was locked up tight.
I used my DJI SPARK and my SONY DC-HX90.
