A culverted section of an unnamed brook that runs under the Waterhouses branch line of the North Staffordshire Railway which was completed in 1905 and linked Cauldon with the market town of Leek.

Nothing more to say than that really, apart from thanks to @mingerocket for a bit of a heads up.

Quite a pretty culvert, hidden away in woodland and it made a nice relaxed wander on a sunny spring morning.

That looks slippery under foot. No culvert visit is complete without a minor slip followed by a curse word!

Nice set o' pic's :thumb

What a lovely culvert, nice brickwork and beautiful colours.
Looks like you had the perfect weather for it too, the glorious sunshine entering the arch in the last pic is perfect. :thumb

Very nice, if you go in wet weather the pipe and the hole in the wall adjacent make for a rather fetching water feature
