Visited with OneByOne and Sui. Two days after our Brum trip and our first few threads...
As far as we know this is a Liebherr 112 EC-H8 Litronic Top Slewing Crane.
Out of the three cranes that you can see there are two separate sites which are just over the road from each other. This was the tallest standing alone at about 140ft.
The two tower cranes were across the road from us and were at the Gorse Stacks Development, A Roman store outside of the city walls or Brushwood fuel for local bakeries, Which was also the former Chester Bus Station. It was also a Roman Quarry before this which was used to construct the City Walls and Amphitheatre.
The site that our crane was on was called the Delamere Street Development and plans are underway for a Travelodge to be built here.
Oh and the whole of the Cheshire Police were out that night :crazy
