as sine.cura said a few drive by,s he kept looking and i was thinking thats him or some strange bloke thats upto some thing dodgy.
we made our way in having to go through his pet hate of brambles but its all good fun.
made our way down i thought ye it all looks the same apart from we found that every single acess had been blocked in some way
so we decided to do some external shots and found our way into the sand mill not before posted on here
and made our way as far down as we colud without wellies.
well enough jabber heres some pictures

this is the workings of the bottom of a huge funnel in the next picture
sorry bout the blur 5sec exposesure hand held not easy, but couldnt get a tripod down any where near it
the bottom level which had about a foot of water
looking up through the stairs
gates were the trucks would of tipped there load down
we kept hearing a few little noises but couldnt work out what it was then this little fella apeared
the bottom of what i think are shakers
