This has been done loads of times but it's local to us and we've always fancied a look.
The air raid shelter under Wavertree Park in Liverpool was built during the war for the workers of the adjacent Littlewoods building. There are a number of charcoal drawings on the walls that are thought to possibly be portraits of the workers from the factory drawn during the wartime period.
Access to this is easy and the place is quite extensive.
Thanks for looking.
