The village of LLandulas lies beneath the limestone hill of Cefn-yr-Ogof (669 ft). This hill has large caves, and quarrying of limestone was formerly the main industry of the village, with crushed stone being exported from the 200 m long jetty. The jetty which is owned by Hanson Aggregates, was closed in 1993.
A lot of corrosion is evident and careful treading is required but a great explore with a lot to see with the site spreading from Abergele rd down under the A55 expressway to the jetty.
Explored with Georgie(cheers m8)
The crushing plant where the limestone was crushed to dust.
Inside the plant
The ramp out of the plant to the jetty
Highest point near the crusher plant
Conveyor leading down the jetty
