Llithfaen Methodist Chapel was first built in 1780 and then rebuilt in 1804, 1834 and 1870. The present chapel, dated 1905, was built by architect Owen Morris Roberts of Porthmadog, in the Classical style of the gable entry type and with a large arch in the facade.

There were quite a few people milling about outside when we visited so we didn't hang about for long, hence only a few photos. It's a nice little chapel though with an ornate plaster ceiling. Visited with Andy, Jones-y-gog & Miss Anthrope on an unusually fine summers day.

Despite the green damp in the corner this chapel seems to still be in use.

Nice that for church, did you do the one further up in Caernarfon ? that looks good too.

Yes we did mate, I'll get a report up this evening hopefully. Proper nice that one. Churches aren't really my thing but that one's proper decent. Capel Salem in Pwllheli is also doable if anyone is over that way. Watch out for nosey neighbours there though!

I need to get my arse back to North Wales pronto, both Engedi and Salem were sealed up when I last was up there :(

This one looks real nice as well.
