Hi forum!

I'm a filmmaker shooting a post apocalyptic comedy and I'm on the lookout for a location, ideally in London, to film.

Pentavia Retail Park looks amazing, but I'm wondering if you guys might know anywhere that's relatively straight forward to access and would look like the end of the world....I feel like I'm in the right place for this request... the dream look is a building which appears to have been civilised at one point in the past but after 50 years has fallen into ruin: shopping mall, school, open to any and all ideas.

I'm funding it myself so we don't have much money but I could probably give the owner of said property a few quid for their troubles.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Pretty much the whole of yeovil town centre looks like a post apocalyptic crap hole. Glovers Walk is an empty shopping arcade.

It's a bit of a journey out from London though.

Haha I moved down there for work in august and I totally agree, especially that bit now fenced off near the spoons. I think that's glover's walk anyway. Still not found any locations locally as I've been busy but would love to meet up and wander if you're interested

28 Weeks Later was filmed in the centre of London's Canary Wharf, between bank offices etc.

Aye, I'm happy to meet up :) The old Pittards site on the edge of town might become explorable at some point. I did check out it a few months back but there wasn't any access at that point; plus, there was a security guy idly patrolling the perimeter for a brief while.

I'm from Walsall. Not only does it look like civilisation abandoned it ages ago, you also have a selection of zombies in the form of drunks and addicts for added effect. The Old Square Shopping Centre is as good as empty and is just sitting and waiting to die, much like everyone else who has no choice but to live here. :rofl On a serious note, I love anything post-apocalyptic so it would be great if you could share the film or at least a trailer of it when you have shot the film.
