Visited with Damon, Userscott, Cass, BenWRX and Spook.
A hastily arranged trip, but I really couldn't afford to miss out on this one. Me and Damon looked at this over a year ago, but there's no way in hell we'd ever have even contemplated Angel's way in. Helped today by a very audacious Userscott who got in and let us in an easier way - thanks mate, couldn't have done it without you!
Inside we saw most of the places shown in the photographs from the Sunday visit. This place is awesome. For me the highlight were the holding cells. Virtually untouched Victorian cells like these are hard to find. Clearly they haven't housed criminals in a long time.
Would've been nice to get inside a big court room, but it wasn't happening. Still, had the opportunity to cavort with a host of stuffed animals and generally marvel at the rest of the architecture. Oh, and not forgetting the amazing tower!
