With the word on the ground that the rake was going to be back filled anytime now we thought it a final trip into the old girl was in order (we now know that this is not true).
Off past the old lead workings the water has washed a channel through the clarty shite, enough so that you can now do this stretch without resorting to all fours!
Unfortunately once past here the shite sucks you down again

With time to spare after LR we decided to take a look at that other delight that Cobshire has to offer, Middleton. Seeing as there have not been any reports from here in a long while we didn’t hold much hope in getting in………..However, fortune favours the brave n all that.
2nd fail was due to not expecting to get in we were woefully short in the lighting dept!!!
